GAME:

ELK - The season begins in early September. Encounter an awesome display of large bull elk in rut. The adrenaline will surge through your body as the elk begin to bugle and you will witness one of the most exciting experiences in the wild as the bulls compete for dominance and are primed to meet the challenge of any bull that dares wander into their territory. If you want to join in on this experience of a lifetime then elk hunting in Montana is the adventure that you have been waiting for. Montana is home to an estimated 100,00 Rocky Mountain elk and Southwest Montana is in the heart of elk country.

DEER - Whitetail deer and abundant in the creek and river bottoms. There is an abundance of trophy class deer on Battle Creek Ranch and the surrounding areas. Hunters will have a variety of different tree stands to hunt from and time and effort will pay off when the opportunity comes to harvest your whitetail deer.
          - Mule deer are also common around the Battle Creek Ranch area and several nice bucks are harvested every season. 4x4 mule deer are common and a 30 inch inside spread is not out of reach.

ANTELOPE - The high mountain plains of Battle Creek Ranch are covered with herds of pronghorn antelope. These antelope are the fastest animals in North America and have extremely good eyesight which makes for an interesting and challenging hunt. To our advantage, during archery season the antelope are in rut and decoys are used to bring the animals within range.

GUIDES:
Our professional guides that will accompany you will display a great passion for the hunt. Each member of our staff has between 15 - 35 years behind them of hunting experience in our areas. Our guides will go out of their way to put you in the right place at the right time. A safe and enjoyable hunt is their guaranteed top priority.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
Our cabins are located right on Battle Creek Ranch and relay all the comforts of home. There are tent camps available during archery season when the weather is usually mild.
