Hike and explore country previously inhabited and settled by "homesteaders".

Some homestead cabins and line shacks still exists. They allude to the difficult and demanding life of those rugged, hearty individuals who tried to tame a wild and maybe untamable part of America.

For folks who may be interested in seeing our capital city Helena, we can also arrange a side trip there.  Located there is the Charlie Russell Museum and the Lewis & Clark 'Gates of the Mountains' boat tour.  Also available is a interesting tour train around Helena showing historic sites of the West.  Some of the other side trips which are available include visits to the Lewis and Clark Caverns, historic Virginia City, Bozeman's Museum of the Rockies, and several more places of history to see.  Some of these areas do require a small additional fee.

One of our favorite evening trips after a day's horseback riding or hiking is a quick trip to White Sulphur Springs natural hot pools, where we find it enjoyable to just relax with a warm soak.  There are many places to go and things to see and do when you visit our Montana ranch at Battle Creek.
