MONTANA CATTLE DRIVES! |
||
![]() |
On days we move cattle, we invite you to saddle up, if you are so inclined, and join us as we drive cattle from one pasture to another. On the days we do not, we invite you to saddle up any way and enjoy a scenic tour aboard your trusty steed!

Cattle are free spirits. When they come to a fence and they want to get at the grass on the other side which always seems greener, they push their way through to it. Part of our job is patrolling the fences, fixing any breaks, and putting the cattle back where they belong. This sometimes makes for an interesting time as the cattle know what we want them to do and they try various tactics to avoid doing it. Enjoy riding the trails in the Big Belt Mountains with a view of three other mountain ranges: the Castle Mountains, the Crazy Mountains, and the Bridger Mountains. You will discover why Montana is known as Big Sky Country. The area also abounds with wildlife like Mule Deer, Elk, and Antelope. Birds of prey are common such as Bald Eagles, Golden Eagles, hawks, and falcons. All these species and more are indigenous to the area and are not uncommon to spot. Join us for your Montana cattle drive on our working Montana ranch. |
